It read the midi files all right, but when I tried to add the audio tracks from the zoom, it automatically adjusted the tempo of the audio tracks, which, since it was already at the right tempo, caused it to be off.
After a week of trying every option I could find, I gave up and bought cakewalk sonar x3, which handled the job without a problem. It is easy to use and the mixer has a lot of headroom on each track and produces a good sound. I have used the other Acid, and this is not it. The other had time stretching to make bpm clips into bpm clips, this one does NOT do that.
